Which do you prefer? Filenames can be better organized, but I just feel ID3 is cool

I try to keep the filenames as conistant as possible but ID3 tags are a must!

I prefer file/folder names - keeping most of my music in the folder structure:
/Files/Music/__album__/__number__ - __title__

However occasionally I group things into more folders (normally for artists if I have multiple albums):
/Files/Music/__artist__/__album__/__number__ - __title__
/Files/Music/Jamendo/__album__/__number__ - __title__

Also, single tracks (normally downloads where I only want the one track) go in:
/Files/Music/Misc/__artist__ - __title__

Of course ID3 tags are also important (especially for Last.fm scrobbling) but I find them to be very limiting (for example multiple authors) - perhaps not so much the actual ID3 standard, but the lack of full implementation in media players.

Both.

The file names have to be perfect and are grouped into folders.

I know where each of mine 6000 songs is and can find them in a filemanager in 10 seconds.

But the tags have to be good too, for when conky displays them. Haha.

ID3 tags and I would love it if amarok could automatically rename and move files accordingly, itunes style.

IC3 tags are a must, absolutely a must. Have the file names listed in some sort of orderly fashion is a good idea too, but takes second burner for me.

Both, the only ID3 tags I really care about are title, album, artist, and genre. I organise my music like this: Music/(Free|Nonfree)/artist/album/title.ogg. (Free or Nonfree refers to whether I got it from Jamendo or not)
