could anyone tell me what is the best program to burn xubuntu and/or all other variants of ubuntu for others because i keep getting an problem on install when i do the md55sum test(or check cd test) and i was wondering if it was the program i was using as it was saying it had only burnt 98% of the disk

- my program is Poweriso
- i also tried daemon tools but i downloaded and installed to find out is didnt burn :(

Download and install ImgBurn:
http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
Go to Mode>ISO>Burn
Select 1x for speed of burn.

Sounds like a problem with the iso you have downloaded. I'd try downloading it again

Go to Mode>ISO>Burn
Select 1x for speed of burn.

thanks ill try it now will reply if it works
btw i downloaded it twice and writ it to disk 3 times over two different files

glad to see this program worked fine in vista x64..
its burning now
-its quite hard to understand but seems to be working
-lowest speed available x1 (used this)
-will run the check on laptop once its finished
-writing at about 1% every 3-4 secs
-winning so far

Clean the lens in your burner just in case. Don't forget to do md5sum on the iso before burn and check CD integrity before install.

i herd about the md5sum for windows
but is verify on the burner the same sort of thing?
lol the sound it makes when completed is funny
