Firstly, I'm looking for a feature that I believe used to be in Gnome, but isn't on by default now: I used to be able to hover my mouse over the desktops in the taskbar, and scroll over to the next desktop with the scroll wheel. How would I go about turning that feature back on?
Next, how do I confine applications to the desktop I start them in? I want to be able to switch to desktop two, launch Firefox, switch to another desktop, and when Firefox loads, have it load in desktop two, rather than whatever desktop I'm in currently.
