Hi there,
I'm having some issues getting dual monitors to work... i tried using aticonfig --dtop=horizontal --overlay-on=1 but it just defaults back to cloned screens... In the ubuntu resolution settings manager, it only shows one montior, but the output from aticonfig --query-monitor is
Connected monitors: crt1, tmds2i
Enabled monitors: crt1, tmds2i
So the computer sees the two monitors. ALSO, on the sign in screen, it appears to work beautifully, the login prompt is on one screen, and you can move the mouse across to the other screen with no issues. But as soon as i log in, it defaults back to cloned screens.
They're both 1440x900 resolutions... and both LCD monitors... the same ones actually. But i need some help. Any ideas?
