Hello! I have problem with xserver or somthing like that. It was ok on the old machine but some time ago I bought new one.
So I have:
clear kubuntu8.04_amd64 kde4 mix installation, with all upgrades on:
Intel CoreQ6600, and Radeon HD3850 (propietary drivers).
Problem is:
I can login with kdm-kde4 to my kde4.1 session, but if I logout or switch user (any) xserver hang right after I enter user name and password in kdm and hit enter. After that keyboard dies, and I must reboot my PC.
I also tried with vega video drivers and with gdm, but with same results.
With vega drivers I'm not able to switch virtual consoles with ctrl+alt+fX, black screen shown instead.
I don't know where to start debuging, so help will be very nice.
