Which client do you prefer?

I prefer irssi and am interested in knowing if there are then any other irssi users here apart from me :lolflag:

Irssi all the way

The university I attend to has it installed on their servers (which can be remotely accessed by the students), so I get a nice 24h/day Irssi shell for free and without keeping my own computers powered on constantly. And, of course, Irssi is the nicest IRC client I've ever used...

I truthfully deeply down way, down, no past the left atrium, yes down the hall on the left in the secret room, deep in my heart I love mIRC, but because I don't want to depend on windows anymore that does mean wine too.. even though they do a great job, I use xchat, nothing closer out there for linux

I hate kvirc, and irssi I respect the beast but I haven't learned it enough to use it. Pidgin sucks *** for IRC, konversation is Qt.. so yeah not too many options is there?

pidgin because it does everything else as well and it works on windows. I carry the portable windows version on my flash drive so I can use it if I am at a computer that isnt mine.

I prefer xchat just because the ease of use and understanding. I once used irssi + bitlbee but just couldn't adapt myself to that, although it's a good client.

Where's Konversation?Probably somewhere in your menu?

I don't know people who use IRC so I don't use it. Just emesene for msn-contacts.

First vote here for Weechat, a console/terminal client based around the curses library. Its more agile than irssi, and can use scripts in 4 different languages.

weechat so I can leave it running all the using screen on my server.

I've been using irssi but switched to weechat today.
