I'm trying Xubuntu because I heard it is designed to be the minimal desktop ubuntu.
So now I've installed it into VirtualBox, but I find that it actually has quite a lot of stuff. It has games, IM, etc.
I was expecting a minimal installation and then I would go and add the few things I needed (eg. web browser).
Do I have the wrong distro? Is there a minimal distro with just the basics? Is there a script for automatically removing all the non-core stuff?
Thanks.
