Hi everyone, I was hoping someone would be able to give an answer real quick about xubuntu desktop on ubuntu server. I will be putting ubuntu server on my IBM eserver soon and I will need a GUI since I am not 100% comfortable with CLI. So I know that XFCE is the best resource managed gui for a server, but last time i ever install xubuntu through apt-get install xubuntu-desktop, i get a lot of applications i dont need. Is there an option to install xfce without the extra apps? For example like gnome-core? If there how would tou exactly enter that into the CLI? Thank You ahead of time.
