Installing xp problem

I have a xp pro sp2 boot disk, when i choose to boot from cd it waits then boots up into ubuntu. What is the problem here? Why does it not go into windows xp install?

check your boot device priority in your bios so that cd is first.

I seem to recall that the Windows CD shows a message, something like "Press Enter to boot from CD", and keeps it there for a few seconds; then boots from hard drive.

Ive tried setting the boot priority to cd and it still does not work.The boot cd is not official though,i downloaded the cd image from limewire (sorry if this breaks any rules) could this be the problem because at the moment after choosing to boot from cd it goes straight into ubuntu instead of the windows xp setup
