I have xubuntu 8.04 on this Dell Inspiron 8200 Laptop that has 1.8Ghz, 784MB RAM and a 60GB Hard Drive.

I used a ReiserFS file system which I found to be a lot faster than ext3...

But I heard that it can have problems, and is not the best... that JFS is better, that XFS is good, with performance, but has huge problems if it was shut down incorrectly. I read that ReiserFS4 is a lot better, and faster...

So, what is the best File System, for me? And is there ANY WAY, that I can get resierFS4 installed on this laptop if it is not one of the available options in the installer???

Thanks!
Shawn
