I just noticed that there are some packages at archive.ubuntu.com, but I can't see them in Synaptic. An exmple of this is stratagus ( http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/s/stratagus/ ). I refreshed the repository content in Synaptic today (after I found about this package elsewhere on the net) and still can't see it listed... I do have all repositoried (multiverse, universe, ...) checked.

Is there a way to make Synaptic see all of those packages?

P.S.: I can download the packages manually though.

i dont think that the packages your are looking for are in the repositories. the repositories usually keep just the most current version.

I'm not talking about an older version of something. What I'm talking about is that there are packages availible but I can't see them in Synaptic/apt. I can't see any version at all...

It's not a big problem because I can see most packages, but it's still a bit strange to me...
