I'm using Hardy 8.04 and have Win4Lin as a virtual machine for WindowsXP. The main Win4Lin application works nicely. The separate application launcher does not work.

I've check my launcher paths from within the virtual Windows using the Run command and these work fine so I know the path commands are correct.

Has anyone using Win4Lin run into this problem? I need Windows up and running to connect to the server at my office. I'd rather not have to boot Windows separately.

Thanks for any advice.

Why pay for a Virtual Machine when you can use VirtualBox 1.6.4 and install Windows on it.
VB is free, either from the repos (without USB support) or from http://www.virtualbox.org/
The one from the site has USB support.

Point is very well taken. I had tried Virtual Box some time ago and had problems with it which I don't recall just right now. I'll try it again.

Thanks.
