hi, i have kubuntu hardy with KDE 3.5.9 and recently i also installed kde4.1 from repositories to test performance in my laptop dell D600. In KDM i choose KDE4 and start without problems but in the moment of startsession sound notification the "volume" window open it and decrease the volume bar to 0% (BUT the sound still work and i can change via Kmix) and after that window freeze there (look snapshot).. and it is over other windows so impossible to work in this environment. It's a bug? or only configuration error? what can i do? i searched solutions in different forums but without success
thanks

luis

(sorry if too much of orthographies errors, english is not my original language.. )

does alt+mouse allow you to move the dialog box out of the way?

sounds like an config problem, look in ~/.kde/Autostart

alt+mouse does nothing and in my case (hardy with kde 3.5.10) ~/.kde4/Autostart/ is empty...

i use my KDE 3.5.10 without problem but i would be use 4.1 in parallel.. i wait for responses because i found any solutions.... thanks
