View Full Version : [ubuntu] Internet sharing with firestarter

I've downloaded firestarter and have answered the questions the wizard has asked. For my internet connection I select port ppp0 ( connected to a speedtouch modem ) and for LAN I select eth2. These are the only two options I have.

I then start firewall and all is happy but if I check the "share internet" box it tells me that "eth2 is not ready". What do I need to do to make it ready?

The LAN happily connects via the same route if I run windows instead of ubuntu but I'd really like to be able to share the internet with the LAN under ubuntu.

Thanks,

Chris
