Hello all,
I'm new to Ubuntu and am trying to lockdown settings on an 8.04 Desk top 64bit install. I'm setting this up as a tmeplate for future virtual machine deployment to developers and want to force their development systems through our proxy.
I've seen a lot of information on the web about doing this but there seem to be contradictions and nothing works for me. It would even appear that files should exist on my install that simply are not there and I'm getting increasingly frustrated with the whole thing. I need to deploy the first development VM in the next day.
I'd appreciate any help in solving my problem.
Cheers
John
