View Full Version : [ubuntu] Can't install Ubuntu because of its resolution

I have tried to install ubuntu but failed because for some reason the resolution is very hi and i cant make it to the desired one(since i am in the installator of ubuntu(exactly:ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-i386)
Can someone help?

HI and welcome, can you move the window but using the alt key and single click and hold on the mouse and move the window to see the buttons?
What is the graphics card model? You can try and use the alternate cd as it is a text based installer.

Well i dont have an alternate cd all i got is this
And secondly when i tried to move the windows it just restrains because of the windows as its locked(cant really explain as my knolegde of english is not that great)
