Hi
I have recompiled the kernel 2.6.24 using the package linux-source following the instructions found at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Kernel/Compile, "Alternate Build Method: The Old-Fashioned Debian Way" and everything went fine; however when booting with the new kernel the sound card and the wireless internal network card did not work. So I guess I should also recompile the ubuntu restricted modules, am I right?
But can this be done using the "Alternate Build Method: The Old-Fashioned Debian Way"?
any clue please?
thanks in advance
