Parition Options

I've only got 2 options during Ubuntu 8.04 install, 1 - use entire disk or manual partition. What happened to the option to use the rest of the windows partition?

You can resize the partition under manual partition.

select 'manual' and manage your partition... you need only one root '/' partition which you can create if you have a free space on your hdd, but if you don't than other than resize your windows partition from that point during installation you need to go back in windows and free some space... although never happened to me...yet
