Hello,
I tried a fresh install (Install option on CD) and an install from the Live Session and both hung my computer at the "Setting the date from Network Server" part of the installation process -- UBUNTU 8.04.1 Desktop for i386 computers. I am a wireless user, so I thought the install from CD probably didn't set up the connection, so I tried from the Live session after setting up networking properly before initiating the install to disk. Is there a way that anyone knows that will help me work around this problem? I searched and couldn't get a hit, sorry if it is a duplicate post.
