are there any open source programs that will take green screen footage and replace it with a video or picture of my choosing?

hopefully a simple program...

also, i tried to use blender to do it, and its if very complex! i cant for the life of me figure it out!

The only free chroma-key capable software I'm aware of is t@b (http://www.zs4.net/news-zs4-video-editing-software-release-0958?PHPSESSID=759e6dc3bf9240392f0807dffca56f75). It's gratis but I don't think it's open source.

Blender is for 3d modeling, not flat pictures. But I do agree that it's very complex.

I've seen some simpler tutorials for green screen in blender than that. They still required some basic understanding of blender UI and nodes, perhaps, and unfortunately I can't remember where I found them.
