So for a few months now I've having trouble printing from my laptop to my desktop's printer and I think it's a network problem. I just realize that all of the computers in my house are networked together, except my desktop that will not share it printing with any other computer in my network.

Every time I try connecting the my desktop's printer I got this error message:

\\ [Computer's Name] is not accessible. You might not have permission to use network resources. Contact the administrator of this sever to find out if you have access permissions.

I also think it might have to do with the Network ID on my computer, here a picture of what I mean:

So can any body help me out? .

Give your computer a proper name, and make sure it is in the same workgroup as the rest of the computers in your network.

Can you explain by what you mean by "proper name" and all of the computers are in the same Workgroup.
