I like to use streamtuner and installed it. It needs xmms to play. Hoever all that is available in repositories is xmms2. xmms2 does not work with streamtuner.

Any ideas? I tried to install xmms from the website but no lock. Any repositories still have the old xmms in it?

Thanks,

Loyaleagle

You can configure streamtuner to use another player. Visit it's preferences.

You can also get a deb package of xmms, thats what I use to listen to music and to listen to web based radio streams :-)

Here is a link to a deb of it, or if you don't trust my link feel free to find another but there are debs available. With a deb you should just have to double click the file after download and it will have install GUI

Hope this helps you out :-)

Thanks so much, I have been looking for xmms myself. Your link did fine for me.
