Update Multiple PC's from Disc

We have about 10 Ubuntu installs on PC's for classroom use. How does one download but not install updates onto a CD and then how does one update another PC from this CD? Also, can the CD be loaded with all updates from the latest version (e.g. UBUNTU 8.04.1) and then use it as a repository. Understand that any special programs now used by the main image would not be covered. Bandwidth and update time are the issue, and our server is not up yet.

maybe something like aptoncd (http://aptoncd.sourceforge.net/) will work for you.

OK, have downloaded application and run it. Will give it a try at the lab.
