This is the last moment of a very expensive SLR camera captured in a digital image. A not-so-bright guy put the camera next a bridge demolition, and many rocks and other heavy objects impacted the camera, imparting significant damage. Three cameras were damaged; 2 suffered minor damage (lens broken and scratches), 1 was completely destroyed.
The memory used to store the pictures was CompactFlash. The memory card was unscathed, even though the camera had been obliterated and it had been ejected from the memory card slot.
Pretty cool.
