Hello, Ubuntu world!! hope you all are having a great day

I have a powerbook g4 and about 4 days ago i installed ubuntu but i did not see what version it was its a 6.06 and it seems to have lots of error when i try to download thing like (flash,java,and when i try to do those cute thing people do to there desktop to make it look like a mac or all that good stuff.

yesterday i tryed to install the newest version of ubuntu but when its get to the "installing system" part its got stuck i tryed it twice and the first time it got stuck at 80% and the second time at 15% does anyone know why this happend?

and is it that big of a diff. from the 6.06 and the newest one? sorry for all the questions

Thanks Ubuntu people!!

6.06? Is that referring to what the *ubuntu version number looked like? If so, you might want to consider a newer version. The latest version is usually available at http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu

You might need the version made for g3 or G4. Check the Apple Users Sub-Forum;
