Alright, this has been bugging me since I upgraded to Hardy Heron. All internal volumes (except / of course) display not as their name, but as their size (see example in title). External volumes (such as flash drives, external HDD's, memory cards, etc) seem to be exempt of this.

I know that in the development phase of Hardy, there was a work-around (see this thread) (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=704633). It used a simple xml script to identify volumes by UUID, and output the the string name based upon that. However, this does not work in the full release of Hardy.

Can anyone shed some light on how to display internal volumes by names now?
