I use twitter. And jaiku though I wonder if the Mauku application can support identi.ca as well. (That's what I currently use to update both twitter and jaiku)

Kinda.. if you use Facebook it's like a Facebook status, it allows you to send small messages to the public or each other. I guess it'd be like SMS messages, except on the internet.

Never used Twitter. I only use identi.ca which is just like it. And to state my opinion, it's better.

I was going to post a thread about Twitter, but figured I'd bump this. Which twitter apps are best for linux? I use Digsby to update twitter on my Windows desktop and I love it, but until Digsby is available for linux I'd like to find something.

This ident.ca sounds promising, as well. If there was an app that let me update my Twitter through ident.ca I would definitely switch. Anyone care to point me in the right direction?
