How is it that the Blender release in Synaptic Package manager isn't the most recent!? It's 2.45, and I need 2.46.
I've downloaded 2.46 from their site, and it work alright, but how do I install it so I get it in my application menu?

Go to getdeb.net and search for blender. They have the 2.46, its how I have 2.46
Here is a link: http://getdeb.net/search.php?keywords=blender
After downloading the .deb, double click the .deb whereever you saved it, and it will install and reside in Applications>>Graphics>>
