I have 2 servers on 2 different sites. Both sites are connected by VPN.
I have 10 kubuntu NIS clients at one site which mount the users home directories from the server thus allowing the users to hot desk.
I have the same setup at the other site and it works very well.
Each site have users which work there most of the time. However time to time they do visit the other sites and it would be really useful for them to be able to login and work there as well.
Can I somehow setup NIS netgroups to contain their relevant members and create mount rules so that they always mount the correct server no matter which site they are at?
