Hi !

I have installed UBUNTU Hardy Heron 8.04.

I want to upgrade it to EDUBUNTU. I saw the Edubuntu web page and come to know that I need to download one additional S/w of some 450 MB, and I can upgrade it to EDUBUNTU. That I can do with some help of forum users. (Thanks to all)

Can I get some detailed overview containing Doenload URL and Installation Instructions ?

Thanks in Advance.

Open a terminal and type in:

sudo apt-get install edubuntu-desktop
Standard edubuntu uses Gnome itself. So you would have the extra edubuntu apps installed instead.

If you use KDE:

sudo apt-get install edubuntu-desktop-kde
