What I would like to do is get in over my head. I just recently rec'ed 2 DL380 G2s. I would like to cluster them (I know over kill) but use them as a file server for windozs boxes that are around my house. More or less, I wist to prove to myself, I can do it and learn more about linux. My question is, is it possible? can a newbie do it? How hard is it? How much time can I look forward to put into getting it done?
Now on wiring, Stupid question, 2 NICs. I would only use one correct? into on switch? Or would I use one NIC to tie the 2 servers together and the other NIC to the switch for access to my other boxes?
