I am trying to get into the Ubuntu 8.04 Desktop Edition CD to install it, but when I try to boot into it, the computer doesn't recognise it and it just boots straight into Windows. I have tried changing the boot order in BIOS, I have checked the MD5 sums for a bad image download, what else could be wrong? It hasn't been burned wrong, I burned using Deep Burner's ISO Burning Mode.

Maybe I'm forgetting because I haven't used Deep Burner in a while but sometimes there is an option box that says "make bootable disc" or something to that sort. I'm not sure how Deep Burner works, like I said, I havne't used it in a while.

I would think that even with that ubuntu's image is bootable so it should do this. Have you tried throwing in a different bootable CD/DVD (ie Windows)?
