I've downloaded the LTS ubuntu installation iso. It has the 2.6.24-19 version. Well, my laptop drivers work only with 2.6.24-16 version. As you can imagine there is no way to edit the grub .lst file since there is no other kernel version installed.

How can I install the -16 kernel version?

Thanx a lot.

Looking for the same since e1000 driver has been disabled in the latest intrepid kernel.

Any help would be appreciated.
