[SOLVED] how do I reset splash screen

I have Ubuntu 8.04.1 installed and added the Edubuntu addon (from CD) the other day. I´m using the standard Gnome desktop, but have some KDE apps installed as well (just not the KDE desktop environment)

I have the boot login screen reset to Ubuntu, but can´t figure out how to reset the starting and closing splash screens back to Ubuntu - they currently display the Edubuntu version.

probably an easy fix, I just don´t know how :confused:

This should help (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/USplash). As you've already got the usplash themes you need installed, just go from step 3.
