Laptop lock and other details

Alright, Im just about ready to buy my laptop (its gonna be a Pangolin), and I need to know 2 things.

First: will it have a slot for a lock, and if not, is it possible to add one?

Second: how is the ubuntu install customized, other than the system76 driver?

Just need to know these things and Ill be ready to buy!

I have a serp4 and it has a lock spot. I'm not sure on the custom setup. It seems there is a main partition, a home partition, and a swap/other.

Yes, the Pangolin has a Kensington lock...
