I am trying to install 8.10 on the computer I just built and I keep getting hung up... I can't seem to get past the cd check... I am installing the 64bit alternate...
When I get to the cd devise check it is asking for me to install the date through a floppy drive (I do not have a floppy drive)... I have installed Ubuntu on about 25 different computers before and never had this issue, so I am going to assume this is Mother Board related?
My specs are as follows:
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-DS4P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
XFX PVT96GYDDU GeForce 9600 GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16
SAMSUNG SH-S223F DVD Burner
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 KHX8500D2K2/2G
Any advise would be great...
