Ok, so I burned a live cd on the slowest speed and everything worked well. This old computer I am putting ubuntu is barebones. No OS. I started the download and everything seemed to go well. It seemed to partition the computer well then flipped to the installation percent. Once it got to 15% installation it gave me an unable to find/create ext3 table or somethin along those lines. If you need more info, i will come back on here later after I catch a flight. Thanks for any help. this is the 8.04 version.
