I am trying to install Wine 1.0 on my first Xubuntu-loaded computer. However, this computer is offline (I'm using another computer to type this). So I Downloaded the source code for Wine. When I try to install Wine, I get the error message "configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables".
Since I am new to Ubuntu (and Linux for that matter) I'm not sure whats wrong. The computer is a Pentium 3 with 192mb RAM and 20GB Hard drive. I appreciate any help.
