getting ibm lotus symphony started

ok, i have a new problem
i have installed ibm lotus symphony and it installed in the opt folder at root. thing is it does not show up in application>office i have tried to change the owner of the ibm folder in the opt folder it does nothing, can anyone tell me how to get the application started

did you use synaptics to install that? also, what is the filename of the said program? try going to the terminal and type that filename.

to start try typing this in terminal.

/opt/ibm/lotus/Symphony

if it works make your own launcher. right Click on Progrmas, edit menu and then add.

maybe just hit ctrl+alt+backspace to restart gnome
