View Full Version : My friend forgot his password to his Linksys router

It is a linksys WRT54GS V7 wireless router. Is there anyway to reset the password without trying to crack it? IF not, what do you have do?

There should actually be a reset button somewhere that you can press with a pentip.

Apparently the process with that particular model is a bit tricky (http://forums.linksys.com/linksys/board/message?board.id=Wireless_Routers&message.id=3664).

Wouldn't you have to be able to log in first in order to flash it?
