Hey! My wiki doesn't suck.

As for wiki syntax, some are easier than others. I find the syntax easy to use (for the wiki's I use).

its not the fact that the syntax is hard to understand, its just that the help documentation on the ubuntu wiki IS TERRIBLE. its the same with a lot of wikis, there is no pne page that tells you how to do stuff, its spread out through several pages and when you want to find one feature and you cant find it, it gets amazingly frustrating.

I just had a look at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Re...0DVD%20Support mentioned in the original post. It actually made sense! I'm not sure what the trouble is.

MoinMoin (Ubuntu Wiki) does have some strange syntax for some things (links). I personally like to use the Textile formatter on wikis that support it; much more natural syntax.

I thought MoinMoin had a GUI edit for an easier way to work with syntax?
