View Full Version : [xubuntu] [SOLVED] Help Please - EEE PC install eeeXubuntu

August 11th, 2008, 09:55 PM
I'm sorry if this is the billionth thread on the subject, but I am totally confused. I have the lowest end eee pc (the one with the tiny screen & 2 gigs built in) and I would like to install the eeexubuntu on an 8 gig SD card. Googling around has just made me chase my own tail as either the links are broken (wiki.eeeuser.com doesn't work) or the info is useless.

Could someone please direct me to where to go to download the latest eeexubuntu and a tutorial page on how to install it on an SD card without a CD drive?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Ubuntu totally rocks, and I've been hard-core ubuntu now for years!!!

This helped me get eeeXubuntu booting without a CD-ROM drive:

(wiki.eeeuser.com doesn't work)

Was that just 45 minutes ago when you posted, or have you been having trouble for some time? Perhaps the server was down because it's working for me now. Try this link:
