I found 2 X 1GB memory sticks at PC133 for 40$ Canadian (a 512MB is 120$ at staples), but it's ECC. Now I don't know if my computer supports ECC memory, is there some way to find out. The computer runs Ubuntu server. It's a HP Vectra VL420DT

According to the specs it's non-ecc:
RAM: 256 MB (installed) / 3 GB (max) - SDRAM - non-ECC - 133 MHz - PC133

I went into the bios and there is an option about Memory Error Checking. It's grayed out because the RAM in there is non-ECC. BTW where do you find those specs?
