i downloaded aero-clone.tar.gz,but i can't install it.how can i install it?

System > Prefences > Appearance. Drag and drop the .tar file in it.

That one is actually a container for many files, I used it once to re create a vista look for a friend.
Un zip it and with your theme installer go inside the extracted folder and install the aero-clone.tar.gz file inside.


System > Prefences > Appearance. Drag and drop the .tar file in it.

Not in this case, as like I said this is a container for the actual theme inside..

the package contains a GTK2.0 theme,how do i install that?i am running ubuntu 8.04

as I said above, if its a theme then you can install it with the theme installer... It should be simple once you uncompress the main archive.
