miniCD install of the Server Edition possible?

Hello!

I would like to know whether it is possible to install the Server Edition using a miniCD (net install).
As far as I could understand form the web site, the mini CD would only install the Deksktop version.
The only possibility to install the Server is by using the full Server CD and no alternative method is possible? Is this true?

no, I don't believe there is a way to install the server edition other than through the
ubuntu-8.04.1-server-i386.iso (http://releases.ubuntu.com/hardy/ubuntu-8.04.1-server-i386.iso) (558 MB)

I've run into a couple of people asking the same thing. The minimal cd will start downloading all the desktop pkgs--obviously a problem on low-bandwidth setup

Not sure what to tell you other than find a way to dl the server edition cd
