It looks like the Galeon site is not updated: http://galeon.sourceforge.net/Main/GaleonNews

Could someone point me to the current news cycle. I was trying to look for help to get streaming wmv working (it's unfortunate wmv is used, but whatev, that's the way it is). It works in Firefox, but none of my other browsers.

Thanks!

AFAIK, that is the current news. Galeon was abandoned a while ago, and Epiphany is currently the only browser project for GNOME.

Wikipedia says the last update was July 6th, 2008: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galeon

Who's updating it? Is Wikipedia wrong?

Presumably it's been receiving security patches, as it is a currently maintained project. But the project isn't being developed in the sense that it's adding or improving features.

Wikipedia is never wrong :). Yes, Galeon 2.0.6 was released on July 6, 2008. I believe the head maintainer is Philip Langdale. There are five people listed as current developers in the 2.0.6 AUTHORS file.
