Firefox crashed the other day.
(Mozilla/5.0 Firefox/3.0.1)
It locked up and I had to reboot my pc.
During reboot, FF lost all my bookmarks.
Since then I have uninstalled and reinstalled FF using Synaptic packet manager.
After a reinstall and a reboot FF is still behaving badly. FF starts but, bookmarks cannot be used at all.

A linked problem is that Tomboy seems to be linked to FF and there are links that I need to use, and have to copy and paste everything.

Is there another way to try to clear FF and reinstall other that using synaptics?
Also, is there a way of using Tomboy without it being linked to FF?

Uninstall Firefox again, goto your home folder and delete the .mozilla directory and then re-install it once more...

Tomboy is a pain and can be replaced with a better app called ZIM...
