After switching user to my account I have the access only to my home folder and not to the data on the hard disk partition (includes data from Microsoft Windows xp which I had only few weeks ago).
I get:
''The folder contents could not be displayed. You do not have the permissions necessary to view the contents of "DATA".''
I have the full access after restarting of course, but restarting after every user switch makes no sense, got to be the better way to avoid this... how can I get permission?
I have Ubuntu 8.04.1 hardy.
