I'm sorry, but I do not understand your survey question. Can you rephrase it?

You could maybe put it on the Wiki.

I... I don't know what you just asked me.

I'd suggest you put it on the wiki so that it's accessible with the rest of the documentation and so that people can make corrections/suggestions/etc. The wiki is a beautiful thing.

But I really don't understand the poll question, and I don't know what a "bibe" is.

Why webspace when you have the wiki.

I think the UbuntuGuide is large enough to constitute being it's own Microchosm of all things Ubuntu...

Maybe it's _own_ wiki? I dunno.

it's all rather schismatic, isn't it.

bored2k

It _could have it's own section.

PS - Weirdest poll ever.

Note: I recommend he who created the thread/5.10_guide to come up with a solution as soon as possible, because this thread is not being productive at all... and we all know what happens to non productive threads.

Yes it is. Our point is, you don't have webspace and someone might lend you some, but posting it in Wiki form would be a lot better. That way you don't need to lose sleep on this matter while we all contribute.

Your aim isn't at bringing people who are new to Linux, but who are new to Ubuntu. By posting it on the Ubuntu Wiki, it could be promoted throughout the Ubuntu community. Plus, those of us who wanted to add things could (as opposed to the previous guide, which we could not).

Posting it on the Wiki will be your best bet. It's free, it's visible, and it's edittable. What more do you need?

I like the idea of puttin on the wiki, but I might be biased. Seriously, come work with us.

Thanks a lot heart_reaver for this guide! ;) The Ubuntu Starter Guide 5.04 is really what got me into Ubuntu in the first place as a Linux newbie. This will help a lot of people coming to Ubuntu. Can someone please map out where in the Wiki they want the guide to go so heart_reaver can post the guide that he has worked very hard on?

Hello to all

I have started putting guide on wikki. It will be done in 3 days.
I my opinion this will not be much interactive as it was with 5.04 guide.
For example the terminal, textedit windows........
Also some things that are best to be done in html format like dynamic linking on the same page.

One more thing i have mailed request to Chua Wen Kiat (orignator of 5.04 guide) but there was no responce form his side.

Do tell what will be best
