hardy has a firefox 3 beta version. how can I upgrade to the final version of firefox 3?

The same way you are upgrading everything in Ubuntu: Performer your updates.

Yes, if you let Ubuntu update itself Firefox gets updated to 3.0.1.

Well, I have Firefox 2.xxxx and it does NOT upgrade itself. When I delete it from Ubuntu and re-install from scratch I get again 2.xxxx
That really sux.
When you go to Mozilla and D/L the FF 3.03 it downloads well, but it does not install automatically.
I use Ubuntu 7.10

If you have 7.10 and it isn't showing up in the repositories, you can use this: http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/firefox
